FREE EYECARE EXAMINATION FOR EVERYONE IN SCOTLAND

As of April 2006, an eyecare examination is free of charge to everyone in Scotland.  The standard recall is every 2 years, however, children under 16 years of age, adults aged 60 and over, and those people suffering from diabetes or glaucoma are entitled to a free eye examination every year.
